Best blog of the moment? There are several contenders, but I'd have to say my current favorite is a chemistry blog called Tender Button, by Dylan Stiles, a former classmate of mine at MIT. If anything makes me miss working in labs, it's this.

My chemistry teacher once said to our class, "You don't need drugs. All you have to do is study Quantum mechanics in order to trip out." I wanted to just shout "But LSD is so much easier." I didn't of course, and somehow managed to pass that shit class with a B.
