![]() | I interviewed the lovely and talented artist Carsten Höller a few months ago. (No, that is not him on the left!) The interview went really well; we had a few things in common, to be sure. Carsten has a Ph.D. in biology, with a specialty in insect communication. One day he threw his insects out the window because he wanted to make something real--or unreal, as the case may be--and started making art. Art so goofy and beautiful and brain-melting that it makes me want to make art, too. I wrote up the interview into a feature for the current issue of Res.
