This was the view from my bedroom window when I was living in Berlin. I became quite attached to the view; that big silver orb you see there is the old East German planetarium. One night I was staring idly out the window and there were little pixelated green men dancing on the sphere--someone was playing 'Space Invaders'!

On one bright summer Sunday as I was walking home, I noticed loud thumping music blasting out of the planetarium. I soon realized that the music was emanating from behind the building. There was a massive (and not-entirely-legal, I'm guessing) dance party raging on in the big grassy planetarium yards, complete with hundreds of people, beer, and techno DJs. No 'Laser Villalobos' light shows or anything, though that would've been awesome!
