I was already pretty upbeat these days for various reasons, but this bit of news sent me over the top: Kraftwerk is playing New York City on June 1st, at Hammerstein Ballroom. You can't seem to be able to buy tickets online yet (let me know if you were able to), but...YES!!!!!!

Saw them in London last year and they were simply incredible. It sounds exactly like the records, but the whole concept, the whole design is just so seductive.

Kraftwerk are a design project rather than a band, more or less!

i saw kraftwerk live at hammerstein back in ... i dunno ... ' 97 or something. one of the best live shows i've ever seen, worth every penny
