I'm tantalizingly closer to solving the mystery that is Rex the Dog, but not quite. Ends up it's definitely not Daniel Miller, as Andy Kellman had theorized. Nor is it Ewan Pearson, as some others had guessed. Hmm.

this is not helping you one bit but anna fielding (sp?) wrote about him and disclosed his identity in the magazine she writes for. can't remember the mag, but if you like i can look it up. the only thing i remember is that he's a record label owner. or maybe not?
